Power In The Blood of Jesus As A Weapon - Part 1

Read: Revelation 12:7-11
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” (Revelation‬ ‭12:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

1. There is power in the blood of Jesus to neutralise satanic accusations. The devil is an accuser. “Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. (Revelation‬ ‭12:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

2. In Zechariah 3: 1-5. The devil was standing against Joshua the high priest accusing him, because of his filthy garments. It took the intervention of an angel of the Lord to help Joshua. Pray: Father, anything in my life, giving access to the devil to stand against my prayers and blessing, by Your blood destroy now.

3. After the sacrificial offering of Jesus on the cross, the blood is now our weapon of victory over satanic accusations. Our own filthy garments or sin like Joshua the high priest, is made white and holy through the redemptive power in the blood of Jesus. 1 Peter 2:9, 1 John 1,7,9.

4. The bible speaks of propitiation, Propitiation means the turning away of wrath by an offering, incurring divine favour instead of divine retribution. Jesus Christ offered Himself for our sins. When the devil accuses us before God the Father, as long as we remain with Jesus, When God the Father look at us, He sees the blood of Jesus. We are cover victoriously by the blood, rendering the devil’s accusations useless. Instead of incurring the wrath of God, mercy speaks. “And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.” (I John‬ ‭2:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

5. There is power in the blood of Jesus, power is the ability to do work or effect a change. The blood of Jesus is tremendously powerful to effect a positive change to every negative situation.

Jesus is the only way to God, Come to Jesus now.
Have a great week.
